Who We Are
Since 1973, the Wood River Jewish Community has been embracing and celebrating all Jewish people - reform, conservative, orthodox in Blaine County, Idaho. If you are looking for a Jewish community that celebrates your outdoor mountain spirit as much as your religious spirit you have found your home and we welcome you to join us for Shabbat services, the Jewish bike brigade, time on the snow together, book club, High Holidays, Hebrew School for youth and much, much more.
Our new home in the heart of the Elkhorn neighborhood in Sun Valley is a modern light-filled space for us to gather in prayer, in celebration and in thought. We are a community of over 225 full-time and part-time residents and the mix of members coming and going from various parts of the country as well as our robust generational mix makes us a steadfast unique Jewish community in the state of Idaho.
Curious to learn more about the Wood River Jewish Community? Please reach out to our Administrative Director at admin@wrjc.org or stop by the temple during office hours and introduce yourself.
